Feeling Down? Work Up a Sweat

Did you know that exercise is an instant mood lifter?  That’s because the body releases a bunch of feel-good chemicals known as endorphins into the bloodstream.  The effect is similar to morphine which causes euphoria.  Your mood elevates and your body gets a good workout.  It’s a win-win situation.

Regular exercise combats stress and fatigue.  It wards off feelings of anxiety and depression and boosts self-esteem.  There is nothing stopping you from scheduling your next training session or outdoor activity with friends.   In fact, doing so can significantly alter the outcome of your day in a positive way.  A brisk walk through the park or night at the roller rink is often enough to clear your mind and get your heart pumping.
