Losing weight and saving money go hand-in-hand. That’s why I’m going to give you some advice that can help you drop unwanted pounds without dropping more of your hard-earned cash. It’s simple really. Here are a few ways that you can burn fat without burning a hole in your pocket:
Put up half of the food that you order at a restaurant. That’s right. I’m not telling you not to go out to eat. I’m just telling you to ask for a to-go box right away. This allows you to have greater control over your portions and gives you a second meal to eat at a later time.
Walk to your destination. If the weather permits, lace up your best pair of trainers and go on foot to wherever it is that you intend to go. Not only will it be a change of scenery for you, it will also give you a good workout!
Meet up with a friend at the gym. Skip the pricey drinks and entrees and opt instead to sweat together. Zumba, Pilates, Yoga and Bellydancing classes are offered all over the city. You can even stop by Mind Muscle Fitness and try one of our invigorating kettlebell classes.
Swap the soda for water. Skip the sugary beverages and opt instead to drink lots of clear, thirst quenching H2O. Not only is it cheap and readily available, it does a body good. It helps eliminate waste by flushing impurities out of your body. It also cleanses your skin and moistens your lungs. Without water, you will become dehydrated, irritable, and fatigued.
